Making Spirits Bright

Thank you for an amazing 2021. This year has been filled with challenges, rewards, and ultimately tremendous blessings. At some point this year, or in the years prior, I was able to work with you on buying or selling a home, or you helped me help others by lending your professional help in what ultimately helped make dreams become a reality. I cannot tell you enough how much I love and find joy in working with people who become customers, customers who become clients, and clients who become lifelong friends. I am truly the most blessed person in the world and you are a huge part of that. From my family, to your family, thank you!

During this season of love and giving, I wanted to do something that helps bring together both the spirit of giving, and the outpouring of love and gratitude I feel for you. Instead of sending out gifts this year, I’d like to honor you and sponsor a family for Christmas. You may not know, but since I was a teenager, a large part of my life has been involved in youth ministry. I have the pleasure to be a Billy’s Boy. I had a mentor and friend that was a big part of my life, loving me and helping me, as did hundreds of other young men and women in the Horry County area. Many locals can tell you the impact that Billy Dillard had on their lives and how it helped make them who they are today. It gave me the encouragement and skills to host my own youth group of teenage boys, the Taters, for over a decade. Every Christmas, the Billy’s Boys Foundation sponsors a handful of families throughout the area to give them a wonderful Christmas. The Taters and I have the pleasure of shopping for them, wrapping gifts and delivering those gifts, along with many other wonderful elves. This year, in your honor, I’d like to sponsor one of these families. There is no better way I can think of to show my appreciation for you and the blessing that you have been to me and my family, than to bless someone else and help them have a wonderful holiday season.

If we haven’t talked in a while, please reach out. I’d love to hear how you and yours are doing. If we talk every day, thank you for the friendship. And above all, thank you for helping me help others. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Holidays, and God Bless!
